Since 2009, Purdue University has put on the evGrandPrix, an electric kart-racing competition meant for High School students. With over 10 years of experience, the autonomous series was born in 2019. With 10+ teams now competing, the challenge continues to grow in scale and difficulty. Beginning as just time trials, additional events have been introduced that force teams to avoid obstacles on the track. Future iterations will include head-to-head racing. It doesn’t get more fun than this!
