Welcome to Wisconsin Autonomous
Wisconsin Autonomous is at the University of Wisconsin-Madison dedicated to the research and development of self-driving vehicles. By utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and interacting with industry leaders, we are actively developing the next-generation of engineers. Established in 2018, Wisconsin Autonomous has grown into a multi-disciplinary organization with over 40 undergraduate and graduate students.
AutoDrive Challenge™ II
Our organization currently focuses on this four-year competition sponsored by SAE and General Motors. During this time, teams develop and demonstrate an autonomous vehicle (AV) that can navigate urban driving courses. Click below to see more.
Before shifting our focus primarily on AutoDrive Challenge™ II, we participated in a variety of competitions. Our organization recently competed in the evGrandPrix in May of 2022. Prior to that, we took part in the Indy Autonomous Challenge. Click below to see more.
